At KIWI, we strive to maintain a safe, nurturing environment for you and your child to feel comfortable and supported. To do this, we provide ABA therapy services that reflect the following values.
While we aim to always provide services that are consistent with the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, we also want your child to be able to have fun, be a kid and have their needs met. Each child’s individual needs, rights, and safety are always prioritized.
KIWI therapy services are provided by Registered Behavior Technicians (or behavior technicians in the process of becoming registered) and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Providers are certified and in compliance with the requirements established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) including the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts and the Ethics Code for RBTs.
KIWI staff have been trained in and follow a trauma-informed model of care, in which the signs, symptoms and impact of trauma are recognized and responded to therapeutically in an effort to avoid retraumatization.
